RRAW Mission Statement

The Resistance and Resilience of Academic Womxn (RRAW) Lab was born out of the lived experiences of academic women students and faculty. We are grounded in three core values.

1. To increase belonging of womxn in academic spaces. We do this by promoting a lab culture that welcomes all individuals as their full authentic selves.

2. To increase awareness of the resilience and resistance of academic womxn and denounce oppression of womxn in academic spaces by carrying out research grounded in critical and feminist frameworks.

3. To create systemic change by bridging our research findings and praxis.
